Anti-theft display device intended for displaying all objects fitted with a sleeve 3. A locker 6 contains a locking system, essentially consisting of two cams 1a and 1b, which are put under tension by a spring 9 and are mounted in opposition on two parallel axles 4. Openings 8 in the lid 7 of the locker 6 permit the passage of the sleeve 3 locked at its extremity by the two cams 1a and 1b, whose teeth 2 are the more rounded off the more substantial the heel 11 on the extremities of the sleeves of the objects to be displayed. The manual release system, which is not shown on this figure, is controlled by a key operated hand lever. It essentially consists of a rod linking two levers which, each locked on one of the axles 4, permit, by means of forks, the release of the cams 1a and 1b. A link, which is not represented either on this drawing, holds the objects in a determined position, as well in the locking as in the release positions. <IMAGE>
