PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for cutting and grinding and to reduce running cost by pressing and correcting the reinforcement of weld in a weld zone by forming rolls. CONSTITUTION:A carriage 11 having a guide on a common base 10 is moved toward the right and the ends of strips 1a, 1b are cut by a shearing equipment 4. The carriage 11 is reset to the home position upon ending of cutting. On the other hand, the cut strips 1a, 1b are butted. A back bar 12 is also inserted to the positions of the strips 1a, 1b and a laser machining head 5 is traveled by a sliding equipment 13, by which welding is executed. The strips 1a, 1b welded in such a way are held clamped and if the carriage 11 is traveled toward the right while the strips are pressed by forming rolls 9, the reinforcement of weld in the weld zone is formed and corrected flatly. |
