PURPOSE:To make it possible to print images with excellent light resistance, by a method wherein a positive comprising specified halftone dots and conforming to each color tone is produced from a color film obtained by photographing an object to be printed, by a scanner, further a machine plate is produced from the positive, and printing in an opaque ink is conducted. CONSTITUTION:The positive comprising halftone dots not more than those for producing an offset machine plate and not less than those for producing a silk screen machine plate or a photogravure machine plate and conforming to each color tone is produced from the color film obtained by photographing the object to be printed, by using the scanner, then the machine plate conforming to each color tone is produced from the positive, and printing is conducted by using the so-called opaque ink. When printing on a blank material such as a nonwoven fabric is conducted by using the so-called opaque ink, images can be printed with excellent reproducibility and light resistance in the same manner as in a silk screen printing method. The printed surface thus obtained has excellent light resistance and clearness as characteristics of a silk screen printing ink, and fading will not occur. |
