The invention relates to a convertible sofa having a basic frame and inherently rigid, resilient spring slats which are arranged parallel to one another and spaced apart, are bent in their longitudinal plane, and are mounted at their ends on the basic frame with interposition of spring bearing bodies, each spring bearing body being constructed as U-shaped bodies which extend transversely to the longitudinal plane of the spring slat and whose two flanges are supported on an elastic bearing means and are held by the latter whereas, on the outer side of the web of the U-shaped body, the spring slat is fixed. |
