<p>The high porosity ceramic body used for adsorption or absorption purposes, particularly for litters, is characterized by a porosity from 50 to 300%, preferably from 200 to 250%; a water absorption capacity comprised between 50 and 200%, preferably between 100 and 150%; a pH from 5 to 9, preferably between 7 and 8; a raw density comprised between 400 and 700 g/l; an inner surface (BET (N2)) comprised between 20 m2/g and 200 m2/g, preferably between 80 and 150 m2/g. It may be obtained by firing a mixture of foam of clay(s), optionally granulate(s), anionic or cationic tenside(s) and fluidifying agent(s). Process for the production thereof as well as utilization thereof.</p> |
