PURPOSE:To carry out the conversion of oil smoothly by gradually varying the mixing rate of a light oil with a heavy oil and converting said light oil into said heavy oil by means of a heavy oil selector valve and controlling the rate of temp. rise of the converted heavy oil by means of said selector valve and a temp. regulating valve, in a large Diesel engine. CONSTITUTION:First, diagrams for the temp. rise and heating of mixed and converted oil are set in a controller 8, a selector valve 4 is operated according to an A-C heavy oil converting command, the opening is adjusted so that the difference between a value from a temp. detector 6 and the set value is + or -3 deg.C or less, the rise in the temp. set value is temporarily stopped when there is a difference of + or -5 deg.C or above, and equalize the dispersion in temp. of a mixed heavy oil by means of a tank 7. This mixed converted oil is further heated by a heater 11, the quantity of a heating steam is regulated by a control valve 10 so that the rate of outlet temp. rise detected by a detector 9 aggrees with the set value, and the oil is fed to an engine 12. Thereby, conversion between a light oil and a heavy oil can be smoothly carried out without causing hindrance to the engine. |
