PURPOSE:To prevent delay in vibration starting time from taking place by continuously vibrating a vibrating member provided in an injection nozzle, with an ultrasonic wave generating means maintained always in an operating condition, and intermittently feeding a liquid material, in an internal-combustion engine. CONSTITUTION:A vibrating member 14 which runs through a vibrating member holder 8 and a housing 4, is continuously vibrated by an ultrasonic vibration generating means 100 which is operatingly connected to a body part 16. And, when a liquid fuel from a port 70 is fed to the edge part 32 of the vibrating member 14 due to the upward movement of a hollow needle valve 34, the liquid fuel is atomized and outwardly injected. Also, plural number of inclined grooves, e.g., opposite two grooves in the diametrical direction, are formed on the small diameter part 42 of the hollow needle valve 34, to give swirl to the fuel being injected while prevent it from being one-sided, further improving sharpness in stopping injection as well as atomization. Thereby, delay in vibration starting time can be prevented while carrying out the atomization of liquid.
