PURPOSE:To simplify inexpensively a circuit configuration by connecting a drive transistor in series with 2-phase stator windings, and connecting the collectors of transistors connected in a Darlington-connection through diodes with the base of the drive transistor. CONSTITUTION:Drive transistors 4, 5 are connected in series with 2-phase stator windings 1a, 1b, the transistor 4 and a front stage transistor 10 are connected in a Darlington-connection, and the collector of the transistor 10 and the base of the transistor 5 are connected through a diode 22. The output of a rotor position detector 3 is applied to the base of the transistor 10. When the output of the detector 3 is H level, the transistors 10, 4 are turned ON, and the transistor 5 is turned OFF. When the output of the detector 3 is L level, the transistors 10, 4 are turned OFF, and the transistor 5 is turned ON. |
