<p>PURPOSE:To enable easy change of tightening capacity of a band brake by constituting a pressure receiving area of the servo piston of a hydraulic servo so as to be changed, in the band brake operated by the hydraulic servo. CONSTITUTION:A hydraulic servo for a band brake in an automatic variable speed gear has a servo cylinder 1 in which a servo cylinder retainer 2 and an accummulator pinston retainer 3 are butted with each other and fitted. And the large diameter portion of a step servo piston 5 through which a stem 8 acting as an output shaft is passed is fitted in to the retainer 2 and energized to the right side by spring 7. And an accummulator piston 12 is fitted to the inner periphery of the retainer 3 on the outer periphery of the small portion of the piston 5 and energized to the right side by a spring 18. And pressure oil supply to hydraulic chambers 6, 13-15 formed by the pistons 5, 12 is controlled, and ?tightening capacity of the band brake is made variable.</p> |
