PURPOSE:To provide a photoelectrical contact which operates upon detection of a very slight displacement by detecting the light which is part of the luminous flux incident on a prism and is made incident on an optical pipe when the optical pipe is displaced until the end face on the total reflecting surface side of the prism thereof contacts optically with the total reflecting surface. CONSTITUTION:Two optical pipe supporting plates 11, 12 are elastically deformed in proportion to the extent of displacement of an optical pipe holder 13 when the holder 13 is slided and displaced toward a prism holder 7 side by acting the force of a floater 16 to the right end face of the holder 13. The left end face of the optical pipe 4 is thereby brought into optical contact with the hypotenuse base of the prism 3, by which an optical contact is obtd. Part 6 of a directional luminous flux 1 incident on the prism 3 is made incident on the pipe 4 upon optical contact of the left side end face of the pipe 4 with the hypotenuse base of the prism 3 and is detected by a photodetector 5. The photodetector 5 transmits a photoelectrical signal. |
