Many people die because they fail to recognise in good time that the stress on the heart and blood circulation has reached or exceeded the maximum permissible, critical personal stress level. This applies not just to ill people but also to many others who believe they are healthy. The measurements of blood pressure and other parameters are almost always carried out under the conditions and stresses which differ greatly from the real critical values. The present blood circulation monitoring apparatus continuously monitors the human blood pressure and pulse rate and signals 1. that the maximum permissible blood pressure and pulse rate values, and 2. the critical limits for blood pressure, pulse rate and pulse failure are reached or exceeded. The individual can immediately limit or eliminate the stress or, if necessary, consult a doctor. The present apparatus can be produced in a conventional laboratory design or in a micro form, e.g. in conjunction with a wristwatch.
