PURPOSE:To secure the injecting quantity of fuel sufficiently even when a fuel vapor is generated by reducing the consumption of power for an electrically operated fuel pump only when an engine is judged to be in an idling, and not in a high-temp. condition by a judging means. CONSTITUTION:A driving current for an electromagnetic fuel pump 27 is at a low level and a fuel pressure in fuel piping is also at a low level, only when the idle switch of a throttle sensor 8 is judged to be on, when the temp. of a cooling water is judged to be less than a high temp. condition of 100 deg.C or above by means of the detected signal of a water temp. sensor 12, and when the temp. of an intake air is judged to be less than a high temp. condition of 90 deg.C or above by means of the detected signal of an intake-air temp. sensor 5. When an engine is not in an idling condition, or when it is in a high-temp. condition even under an idling condition, the driving current for the electromagnetic fuel pump 27 is at a high level. |
