PURPOSE:To enable a long-distance movement of a capsule by generating power utilizing a capsule pressure-feed air to charge a battery when a capsule for work in a pipe stops at the working position due to an internal defect or the like. CONSTITUTION:A capsule body 1 moving in the direction of the arrow (A) through a pipe P by a pressure air (a) is provided with sheath cups 1a and 1b. A vent path 4 is formed in the capsule body 1. An electrically operated valve 5 is provided near the front end opening of the vent path 4 and opened by a detection signal of a working position detector 3 for a defect in the pipe or the like to open the vent path and stop the capsule body 1. Under the stoppage condition, the working in the pipe is conducted while a rotary blade 7 of a generator 6 provided in the vent path 4 is rotated by a pressure air to generate power thereby charging the battery 2 with electricity generated. After the end of a given work, the electrically operated valve 5 is closed with a battery power source to move the capsule body 1.
