REFRIGERATOR UTILIZING VARIABLE CAPACITY COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE:To improve the discharge capacity by obtaining a large capacity over the max. discharge capacity determined from the capacity of a compressor body by combining gas injection with the variable capacity. CONSTITUTION:A bypass hole 27 for the communication between a suction chamber 20 and a compression chamber R is formed. Said bypass hole 27 is opened and closed by a spool 28. Said spool 28 is operated by the pressure in the compression chamber R. Said spool 28 controls also an injection hole 35 for the gas coolant supplied from a gas separator. Said control is carried-out through a small-diameter part 28a of the spool 28. In case of a large discharge capacity, the spool 28 opens only the injection hole 35. The gas coolant is jetted- out into the compression chamber R in compression operation through the injection hole 35.
