PURPOSE:To display the magnitude of a specified analog input signal continuously by digital values, by sampling the analog output signal of a signal converter part during the scan-interval rest period of a scanner, and converting the analog signal into a digital signal. CONSTITUTION:When both an automatic recording instruction key and a digital- multimeter-mode setting key are turned ON, the output signal of a scanner 2 are sequentially selected in correspondence with a selected trend mode or a logging mode and displayed on a display 18. The trend recording or the logging recording are performed. At the same time, the analog output signal of a signal converter part 4 is sampled and converted into a digital signal. The magnitude of the signal is displayed in digital value by the display 18. The control is performed so that trend/logging/digital multimeter modes are obtained.
