PURPOSE:The titled antibody against human alpha2-plasmin inhibitor. CONSTITUTION:A hybrid cell capable of producing a monoclonal antibody specifically recognizing the fibrinolytic action-inhibiting site of the plasmin of human alpha2-plasmin inhibitor, and inhibiting the fibrinolytic action of human alpha2-plasmin inhibitor, can be prepared by the fusion of a myeloma cell with a cell obtained from a mammal immunized with human alpha2-plasmin inhibitor. The objective monoclonal antibody to human alpha2-plasmin inhibitor can be separated from the product produced by the hybrid cell. The cell fusion can be promoted by an agent such as polyethylene glycol having an average molecular weight of 1,000-4,000. The fibrinolytic action-inhibiting effect of human alpha2-plasmin inhibitor can be suppressed directly, and the fibinolysis can be promoted by the use of the antibody.
