<p>PURPOSE:To prevent shift of display positions of a corrected part and following parts of a document in case of correction of the document, by inserting or deleting automatically space characters corresponding to the variation of the display length due to correction of document information. CONSTITUTION:An information transfer device 23 adds a signal B of a pointer 3ba for the correction position of a document buffer, a signal C of a pointer in partial information, and an input information quantity S. Document information is shifted by this added result to correct information. That is, document information is so shifted that partial information 2bb and 2c in a state 2x of the document buffer before correction are in a state 2y of the document buffer after correction, and empty areas 2bc and 2bd are generated. Information in an input buffer 21 is transferred to the empty area 2bc generated by shift, and an input display length calculated by an input display length calculating device 61 is transferred to the empty area 2bd. Thus, document information in the document buffer is corrected.</p> |
