PURPOSE:To simplify the manufacturing process and also to improve both magnetic characteristics and reliability of a magnetic head, by applying the adhesion of glass to put the ''Sendust(R)'' and a holder together as well as to form a gap. CONSTITUTION:Plural pieces of ''Sendust(R)'' 21 and holders 22 are arranged alternately and adhered to each other with pressure by means of glass 23B. The glass 23B is filled into a groove to obtain a glass layer 23 as well as a block 26. Block pieces 27 and 28 obtained by processing the block 26 are butted to each other with pressure, and the glass 24A is filled into a groove part to obtain a glass layer 24. The block pieces 27 and 28 are put together with the layer 24. Thus a gap, i.e., a core block 29 is formed. Thus blocks 26 and 29 are formed with adhesion of glasses 23B and 24A. This eliminates the problems including the heat resistance, etc. in the manufacturing process. While the tape rubbing surface of a magnetic head is formed with the ''Sendust(R)'' 21, an oxide magnetic material 22B and glasses 24A and 23B. Thus both the wear resistance and magnetic characteristics are improved for the magnetic head. |
