PURPOSE:To grasp easily operating conditions of the whole of a system by displaying or printing operating conditions of devices in the system graphically on a display device or a printer in accordance with the indication of an operator with respect to a data processing system. CONSTITUTION:When the operator wants to grasp operating conditions of the whole of the system, he uses a keyboard KB2 to send a prescribed command to a CPU1. The CPU1 displays operating conditions of preliminarily determined devices on the screen of a display device 3 or outputs them to a printer 6. Display or print outputs are outputted in the order of numbers of floppy discs FDD and disk devices DISK or individually on demand. As respective operating conditions, use rates of individual recording areas are calculated in accordance with (used capacities)/(overall capacities)X100% and are displayed. Thus, the operator grasps visually remaining recording areas to judge easily whether a program or a data file can be added or not. |
