PURPOSE:To provide high sensitivity and to improve resolution, diffraction efficiency and moisture resistance by exposing an interference pattern of a laser having <=450nm wavelength to a recording material contg. poly-N-vinylcarbazole and benzophenone as a photochemical crosslinking agent. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive liquid consisting of the poly-N-vinylcarbazole, the benzophenone as the optical crosslinking agent and chloroform is coated on a substrate and is dried to manufacture a photosensitive plate for hologram recording. An interference pattern is exposed to such photosensitive plate by an optical system for manufacturing hologram using laser light having <=450nm wavelength. The plate is then developed in toluene vapor and is immersed into n-pentane, by which the hologram is manufactured. The high sensitivity and chemical stability are thus obtd. and the resolution, diffraction efficiency and moisture resistance are improved. |
