PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform the measurement of absorbancies or transmissivities of various specimens, by arranging a reflective plate behind a specimen by a measuring instrument for measuring reflection. CONSTITUTION:Light incident from a light source 2 is diffused by an integration sphere 1 and the scattered light is allowed to irradiate the solution Y in a cell C through a measuring window 31 while the light transmitted through the cell and the solution is reflected by the movable reflective plate 6 arranged behind the cell C and the reflected light is again allowed to be incident to the integration sphere 1. Whereupon, the absorbancy signal in the solution Y can be obtained by a detector 5. If the reflective plate 6 is moved out of a light path while the solution Y is set, the dark signal in the solution Y is obtained similarly. Therefore, if the absorbancy signal and dark signal in a standard solution have been measured separately by the same method, the absorbancy of the desired solution Y can be calculated. |
