A pharmaceutical product having anti-tumor activity. Said product contains a combination of (a) at least one substance selected from the group consisting of non-toxic or acceptably toxic lectins, non-toxic or acceptably toxic analogs thereof, non-toxic or acceptably toxic synthetic double-strand RNA molecules, and non-toxic or acceptably toxic analogs thereof, and (b) muramyl dipeptide (MDP) or a non-pyrogenic or acceptably pyrogenic analog or prodrug form thereof in quantities which, on the one hand, are toxicologically acceptable and, one the other hand, have an effective anti-tumor activity.
