<p>A slot forming machine has a cutting station (12), feed rollers (13, 14) for driving a work-piece through the cutting station (12). A multi-head cutter (18) engages the work-piece as it is driven by the feed rollers (13, 14) and to form therein a plurality of slots of predetermined length and disposition. The multi-head cutter (18) is moved into and out of cutting engagement with the work-piece by the cylinder (24) acting on the frame (19) that is pivoted on bar (20).</p> |
