PURPOSE:To prevent battery liquid from leaking outside by forming the chambers for storing the battery liquid flowing out on this side of the discharge passage for breathing formed on the upper parts of the chambers for cells. CONSTITUTION:The chambers 23 are formed by the wall plates 24 and 25 in the fixed position of the upper part of each chamber 13 housing each cell while forming the holes 24b and 25a for breathing in the fixed positions of the wall plates. Thereby, even when the posture of the battery is largely changed, the battery liquid does not directly flow out into the discharge passage 20 while being necessarily and temporally stored in the chambers 23 and the battery liquid flown out into the chambers 13 may return if only the posture is stabilized thus preventing the battery liquid from leaking outside the battery container. |
