PURPOSE:To resolve the unbalance of pulverized coal supply due to the difference of pressure loss by a method wherein the pulverized coal flow rate in each pulverized coal pipe is controlled respectively. CONSTITUTION:The pulverized coal from a grinder 1a is introduced to a distributor 3 through a main pipe 2, then supplied to each burner 6 of a furnace 7 through powdered coal supply branch pipings 5 connected to the distributor 3. Pulverized coal supply quantity control devices 4 are respectively arranged on said pipings 5. The opening degree is adjusted correspond to the pressure loss of each piping, then the pulverized coal supply quantity is uniformalized. In this case, flow rate detectors 14 for detecting a flow rate of the pulverized coal flow are attached at each inlet part of the burners, the opening degree adjusting operation of each adjusting device 4 is performed based on the detected results. Thereby, the unbalance of pulverized coal supply due to the difference of pressure loss can be resolved. |
