PURPOSE:To prevent a portion of dusts from falling down from an air suction port part after the stop of the operation of an air conditioner by a structure wherein the sectional form of each bar of a grille in the air suction port of an air conditioner is made in L-shape and the bar is set so as to direct the inside surface of the L-shape obliquely upwards. CONSTITUTION:An air suction port consisting of an air filter 24, which is detachably equipped on an indoor air suction port providing on the underside of a main body, and a plurality of bars 23 of a grille arranged beneath the air filter 24 is provided. The sectional form of each of a plurality of bars 23 of a grille is made in L-shape. At the same time the bar is set so as to direct the inside portion of the bar obliquely upwards. As a result, a portion of dusts, which are accumulated onto the underside of the air filter 24 during the operation of an air conditioner, falls down by gravity after the stop of the operation of the air conditioner. However, the fallen dusts are received by the inside 23b of the L- shaped bent part of the bar 23 of the grille, resulting in preventing the dusts from falling downwards. |
