PURPOSE:To prevent an engine stall occurring when a clutch gear is shifted by enabling the shifting action of a sub speed change transmission for travelling without interruption of a cultivating rotor. CONSTITUTION:Both a high speed transmission gear 11 and a low speed transmission gear 12 are mounted on the output shaft 10 of a travelling main speed change transmission 7 in such a way that said gears 11 and 12 can make relative turn in engagement with the differential case 13 of a differential mechanism 34. In addition, a speed changing wheel element 14 is mounted on said output shaft 10 to make a turn integrated with the shaft and slidable action therewith. An engagement clutch which has a clutch ratchet engaged/disengaged into/from said gears by the sliding operation of the speed changing wheel element 14 is disposed between each of the high speed transmission gear 11 and the low speed transmission gear 12 and the speed changing wheel element 14, thereby trnamitting the turning force of the output shaft 10 to the differential mechanism 34. A reduction ratio of speed transmitted from the high speed transmission gear 11 to the differential mechanism 34 is preset to a proximity value of a reduction ratio of speed transmitted from the low speed transmission gear 12 to the differential mechanism 34, whereby enabling speed change operation effected with a clutch engaged.
