PURPOSE:To economize considerably labor by providing oscillating plates for expanding elastic pawls for gripping materials to be treated on grippers, etc. and enabling automation of attachment and detachment of the materials to be treated to and from a hanger for plating provided with the many elastic pawls. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is provided with a columar body 20 disposed on a machine bed 11 so as to approach to the hanger 1 for plating provided with the many elastic pawls 6, 7, the grippers 23 which are attached freely openably and closably to the front part thereof and grip the columnar rack 4 of the hanger 1, the many oscillating plates 31 and a press plate 36. The plated 31 are provided with V-grooved guides 32 which are pivotally and freely oscillatably fitted to the grippers 23 and engage with the pawls 6, 7 of the rack 4 at the top ends. The plate 36 provided to the body 20 oscillates the plates 32 by engaging with the rear surface thereof.
