PURPOSE:To provide an electrically conductive substance having high ionic conductivity and usable at a lower temp. as compared to a conventional substance by manufacturing a fluoro-oxide having a specified composition. CONSTITUTION:This electrically conductive substance is represented by a formula Nd2Yd2F6O3. Neodymium fluoride and ytterbium oxide or neodymium oxide and ytterbium fluoride are ground and mixed in a prescribed ratio, and the mixture is calcined at about 1,200-1,400 deg.C in an inert gaseous atmosphere for about 2-6hr to manufacture said substance. |
