PURPOSE:To improve the comfortability during air conditioning by a method wherein the air speed and temperature at the positions of dwellers are calculated based upon the outputs of a room temperature detecting means, a blow-off temperature detecting means and a position detecting means for human body and a blow-off air current deflecting means is controlled based upon the calculated result. CONSTITUTION:Blow-off air current deflecting means 4 and 5 to enable to deflect the blow-off air current, a room temperature detecting means 7 to detect the room air temperature, a blow-off temperature detecting means 8 to detect the temperature of the blow-off air current and a position detecting means 9 for human body to detect the positions of dwellers in a room are provided. In addition, an arithmetic unit 15 calculates the air speed and temperature at the positions of the dwellers based upon the outputs of the means 7, 8 and 9. At the same time, a control device 16 controls the means 4 and 5 based upon the result of the calculation at the device 15. Consequently, the ranges of the air temperature and speed, which produce no chilly feeling, are judged in order to directly strike the dwellers with the blow-off air current, resulting in enabling to obtain the satisfactory warmly feeling even when the room temperature is low as such is the case at the start of the space heating or the like. |
