<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform the replenishment of a sheet simply, certainly and automatically, by allowing a feed leading end part to stand-by in a state superposed on the preceding sheet and detecting the trailing end of the preceding sheet to bring said feed leading end part into close contact with said trailing end by a press roller while allowing the same to follow the preceding sheet by frictional action due to close contact. CONSTITUTION:The feed leading end part 2b of a replenishing sheet 2 coming to a new raw sheet is inserted between the preceding sheet of the previous raw sheet and a press plate 6 and allowed to stand by in a state superposed on the preceding sheet. A photoelectric tube 9 detects such a state that the trailing end 1b of the preceding sheet 1 reached the predetermined position on a receiving plate and allows a press roller 7 to advance and both sheets 1, 2 are held between said roller 7 and the receiving plate 5 to be closely contacted to each other. By this mechanism, the replenishing sheet 2 is transferred by frictional action by the close contact of both sheets 1, 2 directly under the press roller 7 so as to follow the feed movement of the preceding sheet 1 and drawn into a sheet feed apparatus 4. That is, the replenishing sheet 2 can be continuously and automatically fed to a molding machine 3 without stopping said molding machine 3.</p> |
