PURPOSE:To improve the performance of an air conditioner by a structure wherein a plate, which separates high temperature, high humidity regenerated air and un-dehumidified conditioned air tending to mix in a conditioned air passage from dehumidified conditioned air, is provided between a dehumidifier and a sensible heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:An air conditioner casing is equipped with a conditioned air passage 12 and a regenerated air passage 13. In addition, a dehumidifier 1 and a sensible heat exchanger 2, both of which rotate across both the passages 12 and 13 in opposite directions, are provided in the air conditioner casing. Further, a plate 11, which separates high temperature, high humidity regenerated air and un-dehumidified conditioned air tending to mix in a passage 12 due to the rotation of the dehumidifier 1 from dehumidified conditioned air, is provided between the dehumidifier 1 and the sensible heat exchanger 2. In other words, the separation of the high temperature, high humidity air from the sufficiently dehumidified air by the rotation of the dehumidifier 1 and the leading of said high temperature, high humidity air to the regenerative side by the rotation of the sensible heat exchanger 2 are made possible, resulting in supplying the sufficiently cooled and dehumidified conditioned air into a room without causing the unbalance in the flow rates of the conditioned air and strikingly improving the performance of the air conditioner. |
