PURPOSE:To prevent the radiation of heat into the atmosphere by a construction wherein asbestos blades are provided on a metal frame through the intermediary of pins so that they are in spherical contact with the frame and are moved swingably so as to form a spherical belt in a cover of a heater or the like. CONSTITUTION:A radiation shielding body 3 is constructed of a frame 6 and blades 7 which are formed of a stainless steel plate, asbestos or the like. The upper area of a heating generating body 1 is covered with the frame 6 having a diameter D, and the blades 7 are pushed and pulled along a spherical surface so that the fore ends of the blades 7 are matched with the diameter of a vessel 2. In this construction, the blades 7 are moved to swing around pins 8 respectively in the state of lapping over 9 so as to be opened and closed in a circular arc to cover the vessel and retain the heat of a heater inside. By this constitution, a heat radiating into the atmosphere can be reduced. |
