THE METHOD OF VIDEO DATA CHANGING AND ITS DEVICE

Succesive run-length codes, corresponding to input data, are read from a conversion table. A D-type flip-flop and XOR gate are used in a circuit to determine whether a last read run-length code which is stored in a register and the next code related to runlength of bits are of the same value. A character code to pattern conversion may be performed by generating character pattern signals in response to character code signals. Each successive line of pattern signals is then converted into run-length codes which are multiplied by a selected coefficient to produce respective enlarged character codes.
