PURPOSE:To retain deformation and leaning of stems, eliminate producing ugly appearance of lamps and sharply decrease poor shaping after assembling the base by coating the lower surface of a lower stem and forming portions with infra-red ray reflecting material. CONSTITUTION:Stems 3, 4 provided with an electrode respectively are sealingly fitted with a sealing machine 50 to both ends of a bulb 1 coated with fluorescent film 2 on its soda glass surface, and a ring shape concave groove 11 is formed in the sealed portion, and after the bending process of an exhaust tube 5 and cutting of thin tubes 6 on a conveyer 51, an infra-red ray reflecting liquid 17 is poured in a cup 18 movable up and down among a loading conveyer 52, and the liquid 17 is gently raised into the lower stem 4 and lower forming portion 11 of the straight bulb 1 up to a wipe off line 21 of the fluorescent material to coat the infra-red ray reflecting liquid 17 on the fluorescent material coated surface. After being dried, the straight bulb 1 is installed to an intermittently moving body 53 at a loading position, and through a preheating furnace 55, N2 charging position 56, and a heating furnace 57, the bulb 1 is expanded downwards at an ascending position 60 of a bulb support and with the ascending of the bulb support, the bulb 1 is transferred to an annular shaping position 58. |
