PURPOSE:To make the titled device small in size and light in weight by allowing an external feeding slave station to offer all or a part of power to an optical subscriber terminal device using an optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:Subscribers are gathered at a block and a station 2 feeding power to subscriber terminals, called the feeding slave station is placed in the unit of blocks for feeding. A center station 1 and a subscriber station (b) are communicated through the optical fiber. Since external feeding is applied to the subscriber terminals, it is not required to provide a battery for power failure in the inside of the terminals. |
