PURPOSE:To obtain an exposure power source of a printer system where an exposure lamp is lit with a target quantity of light, by controlling lighting of the exposure lamp where the light reception signal of a photodetector which detects the quantity of light of the exposure lamp is used as a feedback signal. CONSTITUTION:A photographic paper 12 from a winding shaft 10 is exposed to light by a color printer system, and the exposed photographic paper 12 is supplied to a developing machine 14 and is developed. This system is provided with an exposure lamp 16 for exposure to the photographic paper 12, and this exposure lamp 16 is lit by a lighting current 100 which is supplied from a main circuit 20 of the exposure power source. A photodetector 34 whose visual field is set to only the exposure lamp 16 is provided, and its light reception signal 110 is supplied to a processing circuit 26, and the processing circuit 26 functions as a lighting current control circuit which controls the lighting current 100 in accordace with the light reception signal 110. Thus, lighting of the lamp 16 is so controlled that the quantity of light of the exposure lamp 16 becomes a target value when the exposure lamp 16 is in the stable lighting state.
