PURPOSE:To manufacture a hinge high in dimensional accuracy, durable, and has correct axial center by making a metallic tube flat by die pressing, forming a shaft tube using a cylindrical core material as an inner die and forming a double plate-like blade part. CONSTITUTION:A material 1 made up of a metallic tube having specified diameter is deformed by die pressing to a flat tubular body 2 of nearly elliptical sectional form. During the deformation, a cylindrical core material having specified outer diameter is put in as an inner die 3, and a shaft tube 4 along the inner die 3 is formed on a side edge. At the same time, a double plate-like blade part 5 is formed on another end stretching from the shaft tube. Then, the inner die 3 is taken out, and counter sunk screw holes 6 are pierced in the blade part 5 to obtain a blade member 7. Upper and lower parts of a flanged 10 shaft 8 are fitted to the shaft tube 4 of a pair of blade members 7, 7 thus obtained, and a cap 9 is pressed in at open end of the shaft tube 4 to complete a hinge. |
