PURPOSE:To restart communication without recalling of a terminal whose channel is interrupted, by storing connection information before interruption in a connection destination storage circuit at a communication interruption time and reading out stored connection information to set a channel when communication is restarted. CONSTITUTION:Data terminals 101 and 105 are connected to a time division channel switch SW205 in a data exchange 103 through line concentrating and multiplexing devices 102 and 104. If a communication interruption signal from the terminal 101 which is performing communication is detected by a communication interruption detecting circuit 203, the circuit 203 reports interruption to a processor 201. When receiving the channel interruption report, the processor 201 stores connection information of terminals 101 and 105 in a connection destination storage circuit 202 and releases a channel bus of the SW205. When a communication restart signal from the terminal 101 is detected by a communication restart detecting circuit 203 at a communication restarts time, the circuit 204 reports the communication restart to the processor 201. When receiving this report, the processor 201 reads out connection information stored in the circuit 202 and controls the SW205 to set a channel bus and commands a connection completion reporting circuit 206 to transmit the connection completion report to the terminal 105. |
