PURPOSE:To raise the positional accuracy of a printing medium during the setting period by a method in which a stopper to be a printing position index in the line direction is provided in a small-sized printer and the printing medium is contacted with the stopper for setting. CONSTITUTION:When an upper frame 1 is opened, a stopper 7 is popped out from a lower frame 2 by means of a plate spring 8 fitted with the stopper 7. A slip 4 is set by using the stopper 7 as the index of line direction. When the upper frame 1 is closed, the stopper 7 is pushed down through a hole 10 provided in the lower frame 2 by a pin 9 provided to the upper frame 1, and thereby the stopper 7 becomes withdrawn from the running path of the slip 4. A given number of slips 4 are sent to aimed printing lines by a feeding roller 6 and the matching of lines is made. |
