PURPOSE:To minimize soldering by attaching rims and temples to a bridge, top rims, end pieces, and hinges, which are joined into one body with titanium materials by press, by screws to eliminate soldering in positions, to which force is applied, of a frame of glasses. CONSTITUTION:A round bar is subjected to press work, bend crushing, flat crushing, rough crushing, trimming, finish crushing, etc. at about 600 deg.C of low temperature calcination to form a bridge 1, top rims 2, endpieces 3, and hinges 9 as one body. Parts (the bridge 1 and top rims 2) to which force is applied most in the use and contact parts between endpieces 3 and top rims 2 are joined into one body. Parts to be combined with rims are cut with an extrahard edge to make tapped holes and are combined with rims by screws. Threaded rim lugs which are provided with tapped holes so that said one-body material can be attached to rims, tubes 6, and pad arms 7 are soldered to rims 4, and pads 12 are attached to rims by screws. Temples 8 are subjected to press work as one body together with hinges to make tapped holes, and ear bends 11 are attached to terminal parts. |
