PURPOSE:To provide a desired spray grain diameter, expansion angle, reach distance, etc. meeting running conditions with a simple construction by spraying fuel composition with flows through a spiral path and a straight path in the generally conical form through a jet. CONSTITUTION:An intermittent system scroll injection valve A is formed between the lower outer peripheral wall 12 of a needle valve 3 and a guide hole 6 of a cylindrical member 4 with an annular straight flow path 13 along the axial direction of the needle valve 3 and around the cylindrical member 4 with at least a tangential groove 5 as a spiral flow path to give spiral flow energy to fuel. Thus, the fuel from a supply path 11 provides a spiral flow through the tangential groove 5 which flow joints a flow having straight flow energy from said path 13 in a scroll chamber 10 to be jetted from a jet 9 in the generally conical form. Since these tangential groove 5 and straight flow path 13 are disposed in different positions without any interference with each other, the change in expansion angle of spray is small even in the rise of pump pressure to provide satisfactory spray properties.
