PURPOSE:To sort blanks by the number of copies orderly to be received in a discharged blank stacker in a copier or the like, by providing a shift means for displacing the position of blank in a discharged blank passage from a picture forming unit to the discharged blank stacker. CONSTITUTION:A page one blank discharged from a picture forming unit is once transferred onto a shift belt 33 by a transfer belt 27 and auxiliary belts 29, 31 and stopped. Under such a condition the shift belt 33 is rotated for a predetermined time and the blank abuts against a guide 25 for example and is received in a discharged blank stacker through a reversing passage by the reversal of belts 27, 29, 31. Also, on-and-after-page-two blanks are similarly received in said stacker so that a volume of blanks consisting of a plurality of pages biassed to one side is stacked. Next, a second volume of blanks is copied, while in this case the shift belt 33 is rotated to the guide 23 side so that the blank is biassed to the guide 23 side and received in said stacker. |
