PURPOSE:To safely stop a brush when the life of the brush comes to end by pushing the brush by an elastic member to a commutator side and forming a groove formed on the elastic member at the brush. CONSTITUTION:A brush 2 is contained in a brush retainer 7 formed by machining a metal, and pushed by a brush spring 12 to a commutator side. A groove 15 is formed at the spring 12 side of the rear end of the brush 2. When the life of the brush 2 is finished from the state of nonwear brush 2, the projection at the end of a conductive plate 14 is engaged with the groove 15 formed on the end side of the spring 12 of the brush 2. |
