PURPOSE:To support a superconductive coil by cutting off the thermal conduction from the supporting structure by a method wherein permanent magnets of ferromagnetism reverse to the direction of magnetic flux of the superconductive coil are provided on the supporting structure which supports the coil. CONSTITUTION:The superconductive coil 1 is wound round a bobbin 2 and immersed in the fluid helium 4 in an inner bath 3. The inner bath 3 is fixed in the outer bath 5 of a cryogenic container via supporting structure 6 and bracing 7 and kept at vacuum between the baths 3 and 5. The permanent magnets 9 of ferromagnetism reverse to the direction of magnetic flux of the superconductive coil are provided on the supporting structure 6. The inner bath 3 levitates by the interaction of the magnetic field generated by the coil 1 and the magnets 9 and forms gaps 10. Thereby, the thermal conduction from the structure 6 is cut off. |
