PURPOSE:To prevent the flow-out of lubricating oil into refrigeration cycle by setting, nearly at right angle, the direction of discharge of coolant from a compression mechanism part and the direction of a discharge pipe inserted into a sealed container, keeping a certain insertion gap. CONSTITUTION:Though the lubricating oil discharged with coolant gas from a compression mechanism part 4 is discharged into a sealed container 2, oil mist is sprayed onto the inner surface of the sealed container, since a coolant discharge hole 6a' is formed onto the side surface of a discharge cover 6, and oil separation is performed. Though the lubricating oil adhering onto the inner surface of the sealed container flows down on the wall surface, the flowing of the lubricating oil into a discharge pipe 7 is prevented, because the discharge pipe 7 has an insertion part 7a'.
