PURPOSE:To attain the coexistence of an audio signal in the joint of a magnetic tape by providing a means for replacing the specified relation of processing of the 1st and 2nd data series between different channels and a means for transmitting each encoded output as an independent channel. CONSTITUTION:A reproduction data series and an error flag signal, both of which are taken at the output of a selector 11, are supplied to an interpolating circuit 16, and a reproduction data series and an error flag signal, both of which are taken at the output of a selector 12, are supplied to an interpolating circuit 17. Both interpolating circuits 16 and 17 replace an error word with the mean of right words when they lie before and behind the error word, holds the previous right word when continuous plural words are erroneous ones, and replace the error word immediately before the next work with the mean of said held word and the next right word. Accordingly a coexisting section of the reproduction sounds of magnetic tapes A and B can be generated at splice edition. |
