Press for compacting and handling unsorted refuse - has tapered helical screw, forcing refuse into pressure cylinder for final tying of bales

The unsorted cardboard, plastics packaging, bottles, and textile rags are deposited in an hydraulic-drive, tapered helical screw, from where, the refuse is compressed in a cylindrical duct with final wire tying station for bale formation. The press consists of an inlet duct (5), for the hydraulic driven conical screw (2) with a adjoining cylindrical press duct (7). The duct is supported on wheels (8), and has a tapered end section (11). A wire tying mechanism (9) enables the compacted bales to be tied in required lengths, and has finger pairs (12) for wire tying.
