PURPOSE:To modify the matching of a terminal button and a function lamp to their functions at the terminal side by providing the function for converting a button code to a function code and the function for converting the function code to a lamp code at the terminal side. CONSTITUTION:A terminal device 1 has plural buttons 2 and lamps 3. When the button 2 is depressed, a button code for discriminating clearly the depressed button 2 is transmitted to a terminal side processor 4. A button code conversion part 11 retrieves button codes in a button code conversion table 8 as an index, and converts them into prescribed function codes. An information processor 7 executes the secondary checking whether or not function codes transferred if necessary is valid or invalid. If they are valid, the processor 7 activates a function correspondence processing part 9 and executes the processing in correspondence to the function codes. The converted lamp codes are informed to a lamp control part 6, which controls the lamp 3 corresponding to said functions with the aid of the lamp code and causes the lamp 3 to light up. |
