PURPOSE:To use a coherent monochromatic light to form an image by forming a light receptive layer so that it contacts O and N unequally in the layer thickness direction and one or more pairs of nonparallel surfaces exist in a short range and many surfaces are arranged in one direction, at least, in a plane vertical to the layer thickness direction. CONSTITUTION:A light receptive layer 1002 provided with a surface layer 1005 consisting of amorphous materials containing Si and C and a photosensitive layer 1004 consisting of amorphous materials containing Si is provided on a supporting body 1001. Further, an electric charge injection preventing layer 1003 is provided. The light receptive layer 1002 contains one of O and N at least with an unequal distribution state in the layer thickness direction and has one or more pairs of nonparallel surfaces in the short range, and many surfaces are arranged in one direction, at least, in the plane vertical to the layer thickness direction. For example, these surfaces are formed on a basis of recesses and projections which are provided on the surface on the supporting body and are arranged regularly. |
